I recall vividly the days of my youth when, as the cold winter winds whipped at the shutters of the old prairie farm house, I would find comfort in the wool duvet that my grandmother had lovingly made for each of us girls.

Over the years since then, our family, like so many others, has made the journey through the land of synthetics. From polyester to dacron, we have tried to rediscover the warmth that we found in my grandmother's woolen beds in the old prairie farm house. But it wasn't until we returned to the real thing that we knew it could not be synthetically reproduced.
